1. Did I mention my wordpress plugin has gotten 131 downloads already. In a day. →

Do you realize how pumped this makes me feel?

  2. So I made a wordpress plugin.
It does stuff that I think is cool. Like put the categories for the post you’re showing into the sidebar. Wherever you want them.
If you use a wordpress.org blog, you should consider using this plugin. It will probably make your life easier. And get you more click-throughs.
[Download it here]
I made it because I needed it for a blog that I’m working on. And I’ll probably use it forever on every blog I make. It’s that useful.
Some blogs don’t show the categories for a post you’re displaying, and some dont let you decide where to show it. Others only show you the first category. This plug-in shows every category for that post, and you can put it pretty much wherever you want.
The best part about this widget, is that it only show’s up on the page for a single post. Not on the homepage, or archives, or pages.
The choice of where to show up might be in future versions.
Thanks!

  3. The Crossover typeface was designed for the express purpose of lettering dialogue in computer generated comic strips. The purpose of the font is to make reading and creating comics easier while still lending its style to the handmade traditions.
I just spent a few hours making the tumblr button work the way I wanted to on my portfolio website.
Go check it out and share some things that you like. http://portfolio.zevdesigns.com
Every project page has a tumblr share button.

  5. If you had to guess which OS this mobile app is for you’d probably be wrong, (notification bar aside). That being stated, I assume most people would think this is an iOS app. It’s actually an android app.

This is a stopwatch/timer app and it’s freakin beautiful.

It’s rare to find such well designed applications on the Android OS because its a system for developers, while iOS is oft considered the os for designers. I’m a fan of both, and I wish this was a more common trend.

Come on ANDROID people! There are starving graphic designers all over the place, come find us and we’ll make your app look fucking STELLAR! It’s better than blending in with everyone else using the plain android sdk.
